ANNOUNCERS & VOICEOVER
WHERE DO I KNOW THAT VOICE FROM?
At AMS, we tend to use our voices for a wealth of different purposes. Quite often, you might not see us, but you'll certainly hear us as we use our voices to bring an event to life. Sometimes our brief is to get the crowd excited, and to be loud and energetic - but other times we need to be formal, informative and succint. Fortunately, through our vast network of freelancers, we possess a variety of voices in our arsenal.
WHERE WE'VE DONE IT
World University Games 2017
Steven Jamieson headed out to Taiwan in late Summer 2017 for the 29th Summer Universiade. His role as the swimming announcer was all-encompassing, as he whipped up an incredibly passionate local crowd into vocal cheerleaders for some of the most impressive swimming seen in the world in 2017. Steven kept the competition on time, and negotiated the intricacies of an international swimming gala to deliver what became the must-see event over the course of the week in Taipei 2017.
Arsenal Women FC
AMS has provided Arsenal Women's stadium announcer since the middle of the 2015 FAWSL season, reading key messages, announcing substitutions and stoppage times and the all important goal scorers. We've also helped present the end of season Supporters Club awards on the pitch, as well as honouring the great Kelly Smith at her testimonial.
IPC Athletics World Championships 2015
AMS was tasked with voicing the informational video packages for the IPC Athletics World Championships in Doha late in 2015. Handed scripts, our brief was to make the technical specifications of each event accessible and easy to follow, while maintaining a high level of formality.
