Alan March Sport has more than two decades of experience at the heart of live sports presentation, commentary and entertainment. Our team has worked across 30+ sports, 40+ countries and countless competitions, delivering commentary, announcing, hosting and presentation at some of the biggest sporting events in the world.
From FIFA World Cups and Olympic and Paralympic Games to major international championships, stadiums, arenas and live sporting events around the world, we know what it takes to communicate with an audience when it matters.
And we want to share that experience.
A huge part of our passion at Alan March Sport is helping the next generation of commentators, announcers and hosts develop their skills, build confidence and understand what working in the industry is really like.
Our Commentary, Announcing & Hosting Training Course combines practical exercises with real-world insight, giving you the opportunity to learn techniques used at professional sporting events and discover how to develop your own style rather than simply copying somebody else's.
Whether you want to become a sports commentator, stadium announcer, event host or presenter, or simply want to become a stronger and more confident communicator, the course is designed to give you practical skills that you can take forward.

What to expect from our course
During The Session
Our course is interactive and will give you the opportunity to learn the craft, practice the skill and get instant feedback from an industry expert. You will not leave without having had a chance to commentate on a range of clips and contexts.
Your course will begin with an introduction from your mentor, who will share their experiences and expertise of the role. Come prepared with questions, as there will be chances to ask throughout the day.
Past trainees have told us that their sessions have left them feeling ready to take on a live commentary in their chosen sport or announce at a venue, and to do so with confidence.
After The Session
At Alan March Sport, we pride ourselves on welcoming talent of all backgrounds to our freelancer talent pool, allowing them the chance to work at events in different sports, different roles and different countries.
Having had your chance to learn and prove yourself to your course mentor, successful candidates will get the chance to join our freelancer talent pool and be considered for future opportunities with AMS.
We are a welcoming team of people that are passionate about seeing new commentators and announcers coming into the industry, so don't be shy in dropping us an email or a message after the session to ask for some advice as you take your newfound knowledge and use it to break new ground.
