Alan March Sport has over two decades of experience in the sports presentation and commentary industry, which has seen our team delivering top-quality commentary across over 30 sports, 40 countries and 100 competitions. From FIFA World Cup Finals, Olympic and Paralympic Games, World Aquatics competitions and much more, we have been there to share the sport and stories at the world's biggest and best events.

We are pleased to announce that we are holding a commentary and announcing training course on 22nd November 2025 in Nottingham, running from 09:30 to 17:30.
We are offering this course for a limited number of people, at the competitive price of £129.99 + VAT per person.

What to expect from our course
During The Session
Our course is interactive and will give you the opportunity to learn the craft, practice the skill and get instant feedback from an industry expert. You will not leave without having had a chance to commentate on a range of clips and contexts.

Your course will begin with an introduction from your mentor, who will share their experiences and expertise of the role. Come prepared with questions, as there will be chances to ask throughout the day.

Past trainees have told us that their sessions have left them feeling ready to take on a live commentary in their chosen sport or announce at a venue, and to do so with confidence.
After The Session
At Alan March Sport, we pride ourselves on welcoming talent of all backgrounds to our freelancer talent pool, allowing them the chance to work at events in different sports, different roles and different countries.

Having had your chance to learn and prove yourself to your course mentor, successful candidates will get the chance to join our freelancer talent pool and be considered for future opportunities with AMS.
