Audio Description in action

This short video was designed and created in collaboration with CAFE and UEFA to help everyone understand why we believe Audio Description is such an essential service.

How the service works on match day

We work with each of our client clubs to adapt our service to link in as seamlessly as possible with their existing services and infrastructure, but despite that there are some common threads between the match day experience at each of the clubs we provide our Audio Description service to. The team's thoroughly trained audio description commentators take up a position near to the halfway line, almost always in the media area of the stands. Two commentators are equipped with headsets, plugged into a short-range radio transmitter. Fans arrange collection of a receiver, plug in their own standard headphones and will immediately be connected to the commentary.

While the service is designed to communicate the match day experience to blind and vision impaired fans, clubs have found that the service is hugely appreciated by many neuro-diverse fans, who find the commentary beneficial for focusing on the game.

Existing Clients

Our clients play at all levels of the football pyramid, from the Premier League down to League Two.

Regardless of a club's current league position, we provide a service to the same high standards. To learn more about the services offered and how to access them, simply click your team's logo below!
